Today is going to be a good day!
My go to choice for a comfy casual day is a pair of jeans, denim jacket, scarf and beanie which stylishly comes in handy on a bad hair day or for protection on a windy cold day. I love the touch and look of chenille and was delighted to find this one from Macy’s recently on sale. The over-sized knitted scarf was purchased at intermission at the stage musical Dear Evan Hansen at Segerstrom Hall recently in Costa Mesa. If you can’t make it to see the show you an purchase the scarf off the Playbill Store’s website.
Dear Evan Hansen
Dear Evan Hansen comes out of the genius music and lyric team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul with a book by Steven Levenson. It was nominated for 9 Tony awards, winning 6 including best musical, best score, best actor – Ben Platt and best featured actress- Rachel Bay Jones. This contemporary musical soars with emotion and realism of life through its powerful score and message to connect, understand, accept and celebrate one another’s individuality and humanity.
The beautiful hardcover behind the scenes book, “Dear Evan Hansen: Through the Window” makes a great gift for a friend who loves theater and has seen the play or as a keepsake for yourself. It is filled to the brim with interviews, photographs and memorabilia.
In addition to the musical, audiences can now be further impacted by the story with the novel version taking the stage to the page.
