Aladdin Inspired Fashion
The vibrant and enchanted world of Aladdin and Agrabah inspired my look from attending a matinee to evening performance of the touring production of Aladdin. The touring production is at Segerstrom Center for the Arts from 3/6/-3/23.
I love this beautiful red spectrum mini dress from Finders Keepers. The magnificent pattern on the dress, delicate material, flutter bell sleeve detail and playful tassels makes this dress unique and beautiful. The vibrant shade of red reminded me of one of Jasmine’s fanciful outfits. Best of all I was able to purchase this dress online through Fashion Bunker’s BNKR online warehouse sale at an unbelievable price of $30 instead of the full $160.
Visit the chic BNKR store in Los Angeles. (901 South Broadway Los Angeles, Ca 90015) The store is spacious, inviting and well merchandised with clothing, shoes and accessories from emerging Australian designers. Sign up for free sale alerts and get a discount off your first order. Currently, the offer is 25% full priced items. In the past it has been $15 off.
I was delighted to find my clutch at the Little Market (a nonprofit for women by women) in Pacific Palisades. The clutch is a huipil bag handmade by female artisans through Precious Hands in Guatemala. It reminded me of Aladdin’s carpet with the texture and bright colors. You can buy a similar zipper pouch bag in person at The Little Market’s store in Pacific Palisades or checkout similar items on both the Precious Hands and Little Market websites. Each item is one of a kind.
I added a touch of glimmer and elegance for an evening performance by adding accessories and my Cupcakes & Cashmere black duster. I love how when I walk the lightweight duster flows behind me like Jafar’s cape. The retired Kirks Folly Aladdin lamp pin is from eBay that I pinned to my black duster. The “straight to the point” and “just a touch” gold adjustable necklaces are from Uncommon James. To tie in the red of the dress and gold of the Michael Kors Catalina sandals (click here for similar) I wore Valentina Thread Wrap Earrings from Francesca’s.

The spectacular production is pure genie-ius with the award winning familiar score we have all come to love. There are a few more additional original songs in this non stop romp through fun, adventure and romance weaved seamlessly through acting, singing, music dancing and acrobatics.
Starring in this North American tour is Major Attaway as the Genie. Lissa Guzman as Jasmine and Clinton Greenspan as Aladdin.

Aladdin 2019 Movie
If you cannot make it to see the Broadway North American Tour Disney production you can watch the new Disney movie releasing May 24, 2019!
The film stars Mena Massoud as the titular character, alongside with Will Smith (Genie) and Naomi Scott (Jasmine) directed by Guy Ritchie.
I love how the Jasmine character has an updated look that features more vibrant colors then just the famous bluish teal.
