Rodgers Gardens Farmhouse Restaurant

I was thrilled to find this Sylvia Floral Wrap Dress sold by Francesca’s (sizing starts in xxs) and wear it to have lunch at Rodger’s Gardens Farmhouse. The dress has a double ruffle sleeve and ties at your waist with a nice floral pattern throughout. It is described online to be midi length but for a petite person it will look longer and flow nicely as you walk. You can pair the dress with some wedge sandals or heels of your choice. The v-neck leaves room for an open neck or your favorite dainty layered jewelry.

The Kupu butterfly rattan tote compliments the coloring of the dress well. The goldish and yellowish hue in the florals on the dress match the coloring of the tote. It is a perfect tote to carry your essentials or even some flowers or berries for a fresh spring or summer day.

For two years in a row Open Table has rated Farmhouse at Rogers Gardens as one of the 100 best al fresco and scenic restaurants. This is one of the most popular restaurants in Orange County so be sure to book reservations far in advance.  Not only is the ambiance charming but the food is fresh, healthy and inviting. Owner and executive chef Rich Meade has curated a farm to fork table menu that is not only vibrant in the presentation but delicious to the palate.

I love the chopped roasted vegetable salad with added chicken.  My favorite dessert is the delicate gluten and dairy free (get it with no cream) toasted almond cake with poached pear and pomegranate honey sauce paired with chamomile tea.

Nearby at every table there were heaters and complementary blankets to warm your lap as a nice touch. Portions are sizeable so be sure to save room for dessert or for a special treat come in just for dessert and tea. Afterwards browse through the gardens to see a variety of plants, flowers and arrangements. The famed gift shop also has as exquisite collection of collectibles for gift giving.
