Secrets of a Savvy Shopper
I would love to share with you some secrets of getting incredible prices on amazing experiences whether for fashion, tickets, or lifestyle. You will find some information on apps, styling tricks and so much more.
Finding Beautiful Designer Clothes at Affordable Prices
Before you start you need to know what styles look best on your body type including hemline, cut-off shoulders, neckline. Do I look best in a sheath, fit and flare, shift or swing style when it comes to a dress? In pants am I looking for ultra skinny, skinny, straight leg, flared or cuffed pants? Try on many brands of clothes because each brand has their unique fitting standard. As a petite woman I know which brands are cut smaller for petite sizes. Many designer brands are cut smaller than standard brands.
The key to shopping for designer clothes and accessories is to find a classic piece that fits your personal style and lifestyle. What items are closet staples and what are specialty items that can be dressed up or down from day to night? Many labels create certain styles that are repeated in many seasons with different fabrications. These can be your go to buys when they go on sale because you already know how the style looks on you.
Develop an eye for style. Then try to duplicate these looks with discount retailers. Target and Kohls has some great basic pieces. Pair a vintage belt from eBay and a beautiful designer scarf from Poshmark that you have bargained for and you will have a unique stylish one of a kind outfit.
The secret to looking well put together is not how much an item costs but how it looks on you which comes down to the fit. It is a good investment to find a skilled alterations person or a tailor. Sometimes just tweaking the fit such as the hemline or taking up the shoulders can make all the difference.
